Uses of Neurolase-G
An osmotic agent used to reduce raised intracranial pressure and, in some settings, intraocular pressure. It works by physics rather than by receptor pharmacology.
Effect is short lived and use is a bridge, not a treatment: it buys time while the cause of the raised pressure is addressed. Repeated dosing needs close attention to fluid balance, osmolality and renal function.
